Videography
Videography is a key part of my creative practice, particularly within campaign and brand-led work. In my role as in-house creative at Red, I’ve been responsible for developing concepts, shooting and directing video content, and overseeing post-production to ensure the final films are aligned with the original idea and wider brand objectives.
My approach is grounded in storytelling and clarity - creating video assets designed to work across platforms, from hero campaign films to cut-downs for digital and social.
Amy Ennion aka Amy Swims invited me along on her epic swim of Loch Ness. 37km in 15 degrees water. It was brilliant to see not only Amy herself but how involved the entire support crew had to be. It was a privilege to be there and a privilege to have been the one to film the swim.
Cold-water swimming isn’t just an adventure - it’s a journey of healing and empowerment. 🏊♀️ Ellie Ricketts, founder of Into The Blue, shares her inspiring mission to support those impacted by cancer, offering life-changing experiences in the depths of the sea.
It’s an ‘urban Thing - Paddleboarding London invited us to see what the big smoke had to offer paddleboarders. The perfect weapon for the trip, the super light weight Compact 9’6 - naturally.
We were invited out to the Isles of Scilly by the tourist board to find out why this is the best place in the UK for a SUP adventure, and it didnt disappoint. The UKs answer to the Caribbean? Maybe…This isn’t all my work, I co-filmed this with the lovely Alice Callow, and even broke my rule of never being on camera.
I had to channel my inner ice merman for this video. I was invited to follow the British team at the Ice Swimming Championship qualifiers. Fair play to everyone involved, that water was nippy.
We were invited out to Annecy, France. To attend the GlaGla race which means “bruu bruuu” - shivering sounds….. and it did not disappoint, race day started early at a toasty -7 degrees C. But the racers were prepped, warmed up by a dance with a yeti and ready to hit the water.
Surrounded by stunning views of the mountains the GlaGla has a special place in the hearts of all that compete. Now that I have been there I can see why…..I will be back.
All abilities paddleboard with Ysgol y deri - This was a very special and heartwarming trip. Red Paddle Co were launching a paddleboard with accessibility in mind. This was developed closely and tested by the kids at Ysgol y deri special school. The outcome was this great day on the water with some great people.
A Lake District adventure - This was a video created as part of Reds ‘Upgrade your Adventure’ campaign. This video was focused on the changing robe but we were also there for content on a new backpack. The concept was to show how it was a multi-use product for any adventure.
Awesome little collaboration for a water SUP shoe by Clarks x Red. I put this video together to help launch the project. Shoe shot in the studio by myself as well as the edit. Lifestyle footage from Sam Glazebrook and stock drone footage.
I had the epic opportunity to head out to Austria for the Spartan race in Zell am-See Kaprun. It was amazing to see both the levels of strength and endurance of these athletes and the spirit of community that ran through the event. I even got to run the 5km (actually 7km) event to see what it was all about - it was tough!
Totes amazeballs - We hoped on a plane to sunny Portugal for an April shoot to launch Reds new tote bag range, thankfully the weather was kind to us and the footage great!
